Windermere South end from Fell Foot Park. A 10 Km circuit from the National Trust Estate to Blakes Howe, Back down to Lakeside for tea. Then on to Newby Bridge down the River Leven and back up to Fell Foot. Combine it with a stroll around Gummers Howe for some great views of the Lake and also across to Scafell & Scafell Pike - on a good day. Then again all days are good days in the English Lakes. We have tested that theory this week on a very rainy and windy trek up Wetherlam this week :-)
