Diamond with Woven Centre

Today I will teach you how to create a diamond with a woven centre.

We will create the top half of the diamond first. Starting in the middle of your work, tie a double half hitch knot. Continue tying diagonal double half hitch knots on both sides of your work until you’ve reach the desired size for your diamond.

Next we will create the woven centre. Move the cords over and under each other to create a woven centre.

Use diagonal double half hitch knots to create the bottom of the diamond.
