The beautiful hope of our lives in Christ is that we can trade our sins and sorrows for His love and perfection. This message reminds children that we want to put Jesus first and dwell on Him, rather than on our mistakes and sinful behaviors. The object lesson trades a dirty and stained shirt for a fresh clean one, in order to emphasize that we can put away our selfish desires and have new life in the Lord, marked by love and compassion and blessed by God.
