Peikko PSB used as punching reinforcement is a simple and reliable solution against punching and shear failure in floor slabs, grounds slabs, and footings.
PSB reinforced cast-in-situ floor slabs can be designed thinner offering reduction in the overall construction height, resulting in savings in construction and running costs. The PSB system also offers a ceiling with undisturbed clearance offering flexibility and ease of planning and installation of building services.
The PSB studs are produced from B500B rebar (acc. EN 10080, DIN 488).The properties of PSB as well as the resistances of slabs reinforced by PSB are approved within the European Technical Approval ETA-13/0151 and German national approval Z-15.1-267 which make it applicable in Europe (including Russia and Belarus), Middle East, Asia and Oceania.
