The Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring an enormous man-made parkland, stretching almost 300 square kilometres in size, and one of the largest in the world. It contains the two towns of Lednice and Valtice, as well as several small villages, lakes, roads, castles and many points of interest. It was owned by the Liechtenstein family from the 13th century until they were forced to flee by the Nazis in 1938. Very beautiful area, and well worth a day of exploration!
