Great Italian movie directed by Giuseppe Tornatore , with music by Ennio Morricone, starring Marcello Mastroianni, and great cinematography by Blasco Giurato.
One of the best Italian movies I've ever seen. Giuseppe Tornatore's movies are very human and passionate, so if you love older Italian movies you're in for a treat.
As far as I know Giuseppe Tornatore is the last of the great Italian directors that were heavily influenced by Federico Fellini, so with him is the end of a very magical time for Italian movies.
