Fraser's Hill, once a popular destination for nature enthusiasts, has now become a deserted town that leaves travellers feeling terrified.
An 18-second video recently shared on TikTok drew attention to an abandoned-looking building on an uphill slope.
The video, which has garnered over two million views, was recorded by TikTok user Unaacoo (@unaghafar) during her family's "disappointing road trip" in February.
The user had booked a hotel stay online but found that the online reviews did not reflect the reality upon arrival.
Despite the owner's claims that the hotel was beautiful and packed with visitors, @unaghafar said she and her family found the opposite to be true.
Malaysians who have travelled to Fraser's Hill shared similar experiences in the comment section of the TikTok video.
