This was a poorly built but fully functional voltage multiplier made from a power supply cord, an air purifier module (apprx 10kv output), 18-20kv .5mA diodes, 18-20kv 1nF ceramic capacitors, one terminal block strip, and 25kv insulated wire from a flyback transformer.
Nothing was soldered so there was major losses as well. Some connections would arc.
9 stages made possible do to the high frequency of the air purifier module causing all caps to charge despite the length of the multiplier.
Spark gap equals 3-3.5cm average and 4cm max
Thank you for watching and I will have more soon!
