Exploring the Potential Trade-Offs Between Reproduction and Immunity Mediated by Oxidative Stress in Zebra Finches (Taeniopygia guttata)
Normally, Integrative Biology seniors present their thesis research to the public at Cal Day. However, due to the campus shut down from COVID-19, students created virtual presentations.
The majority of scientific literature on fertility is male-centric, with female subjects often being overlooked because of cyclic hormones. I chose to study female reproduction for my thesis in hopes to contribute to female fertility research and to assist in closing this gap. I am posting my presentation online in hopes to share my passion and findings with those who are interested!
