Coming off of a roller coaster summer with the top 400m IM time in the world (4:08.46), Carson Foster uses his NIL to partner with Mizuno. He's been racing in Mizuno since he cracked the world rankings, and he's happy they'll be with him in the future. Carson unpacks a lot in this SwimSwam Podcast, noting this historic moment when college swimmers can generate earnings. He also looks to the future and short three-year window to the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
From the official release: Mizuno, the global specialty sporting goods company, is entering into the collegiate and NIL conversations by signing their first collegiate swimmer, Carson Foster. A sophomore at the University of Texas, Foster is a versatile swimmer skilled in the individual medley and middle distance events, and has been recognized at the NCAA swimming national championships and as an NCAA All-American.
“We are thrilled to partner with Carson and support him in his swimming career,” said Clint Sammons, team sports marketing manager at Mizuno USA. “He has already proven a talented athlete in the pool and continues to hold himself to a high standard. We look forward to working with him and continuing the advancement of Mizuno USA products with him.”
