The 2 Second Rule Explained. The two second rule gap is with normal weather conditions you keeping a safe gap of 2 seconds from the car in front of you(this is the minimum and the bigger the gap the better).
If the weather is wet or raining then this gap from you and the car in front of you will increase to 4 seconds.
If the weather is snowing or icy then this gap from you and the car infant will increase to 10 times.
I will show you how to measure the distance whilst driving so you can keep to the 2 second rule gap. The reason why you need to keep to the 2 second rule is to keep yourself safe and giving yourself time to slow down and avoid driving into the back of the car in front of you. It is your responsibility to keep to the 2 second rule, failing to keep to the 2 second rule will increase the likelihood of you being involved in an accident.
Remember only a fool forgets the 2 send rule.
Safe driving.
