Short field takeoff checklist and short field takeoff at Goose Creek Airport in a Piper Cherokee 140 single engine aircraft. This is at my home field of Goose Creek Airport, 28A, south of Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a 2300ft paved runway with obstacles so I make it a practice to do short field takeoffs every time.
This video shows the full pre-takeoff checklist. There is a small cut at the beginning, however I did not cut out any part of of the checklist. I am new to using ForeFlight / iPad as an electronic checklist and love it! Having the electronic checklist has made flying airplanes a lot more streamlined.
In this video you can see a small bounce during takeoff before I get airborne - there is a small dip on the runway that causes a small bounce that I have not figured out yet :-\
