We've got a monstrous month of premieres. So let's get right into it with the breakdown of the most anticipated TV shows and movies coming to our favourite streamers in March 2021.
First up, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the DC gang are back together for Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max which is set to release on March 18.
Fueled by a fan campaign, the director's recut of his original vision from the 2017 film has added a darker tone, a redesigned villain, and new appearance by the Joker, and lots of unseen material during its 4-hour run time.
Since Marvel refuses to be outdone by DC, one day later, on March 19, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to premiere on Disney plus.
Captain Steve Rogers' two best buds have had total odd couple energy since the Civil War. We're eager to see how Sam handles the responsibility of being the new Captain America and what the state of the Avengers is in after Iron Man in the post-Tony Stark world.
Setting superheroes aside but keeping some MCU players, Cherry premieres March 12 on Apple TV. The Russo brothers return to their directing chairs for the first time since the endgame. Their new action drama has Tom Spider-Man Holland as a young bank robber who is struggling with love, addiction, and PTSD.
Two very different Amazon Prime Video premieres, both getting a ton of buzz.
Coming 2 America lands is hitting streaming service on March 5. Eddie Murphy leads a cast of comic royalty as Akeem brings the son he never knew about from the US back to Zamunda.
Then, on March 26, Invincible. It's based on the comic book by The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman. Steven Yeun voices your average teen developing his superpowers under the tutelage of his all-powerful dad played by J.K. Simmons.
And speaking of legendary creatures, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers hits the ice March 26 on Disney+.
Closing out the month, Godzilla vs. Kong explodes on HBO Max March 31. This is the 36th Godzilla movie. And you gotta respect that.
