There's something about this tiny tour. Nearly every recording is a B or higher in my eyes, and this one is no different. The band are in top form and Liam is holding well and it appears that he has fully recovered from his hiccup in Florida.
Oasis stopped at the Chicago Theatre during their Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants tour over two years ago at this point, and that gig was phenomenal. This is also a great gig in my opinion.
Like in Toronto, Wonderwall has replaced She's Electric, and it's not the typical Wonderwall, as this style is more related to the Ryan Adams version of Wonderwall. Noel would also play Wonderwall in Detroit, the final date of the tour, and later in the tour to help Liams' voice. While the crowd is singing along, Noel still plays, which would for some reason be an issue later in the tour, and would stop to replace it with usually Married With Children, but sometimes he would play rare tunes like Slide Away or Half The World Away.
There is a slight fade out and in after Acquiesce for the tape change.
