I have tried every bird deterrent and repellant on the market. I have tried shiny bird tape, bird deterrent owls to scare birds away, and all the scary metal bird spikes. Not only were they ineffective, they made my house look like trash! For my personal situation, these plastic adjustable bird spike strips did the trick. They were extremely easy to install. They are short enough that they are not overly visible unless you are staring straight up at them - but who stares up like that? Nobody. But most importantly these plastic bird deterrent spike strips are extremely effective. Good luck!
