“When Calls the Heart” star Mamie Laverock is currently on life support after falling five stories from a balcony walkway, according to a GoFundMe page organized by her family. Her parents, Rob and Nicole, revealed the news on May 26 writing on the campaign’s page that after two weeks in “intensive treatment” she was “escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories.” Following the fall, her parents wrote that she “sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.” Mamie’s time in the hospital started on May 11, when according to the GoFundMe page, her mom traveled to Winnipeg, Canda to help Mamie with a “medical emergency.” She was then transferred to a hospital in Vancouver. At the time, her recovery was unclear, but they said she was showing signs of improvement. Mamie fell off the balcony weeks after she was initially hospitalized. Details of the medical emergency that originally sent her to the hospital are still unclear.
