Off Grid Hot Tenting at the future Cabin property of Bushradical and Girl in the Woods - Alone on History Channel Reunion Brooke and Dave Whipple are at it again and have purchased another Off Grid Property to Build an off Grid Cabin, for the first time it is not an Alaska Cabin but is in the UP /Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

My brother Jim Baird and Myself Ted Baird first met Brook and Dave Whipple at the making the Cut try outs for the TV Show Alone on the History Channel. Being like minded people we quickly became friends. As luck would have it all 4 of us were selected for the show and we got to spend 10 days hanging out in Quatsino on Northern Vancouver Island before we were launched and dropped Alone to survive. We would not see them again until the Reunion Show in New York City where we shared stories of our adventures.

Over this time Jim and I were able to learn about Brooke and Dave's backstories and how they had created an amazing life for themselves living in Alaska Building Off Grid Cabins by themselves.

We learned how they loved nature and rustic living and how they didn't want to conform to the standard cookie cutter 9-5 lifestyle that society wanted them to. They took it upon themselves to stay true to their passions and carve out the life they wanted for themselves. We learned how they were on the TV Show Yukon River Run on the National Geographic Channel where they and life long friends built a 30 x 60 foott raft and floated in walled tents hundreds of miles down there Yukon River in fishing along the way and completing the adventure of a life time

Because Jim and I also love the nostalgia of this lifestyle and because we were Adventurers ourselves we naturally gravitated to each other and shared stories into the night

So when the opportunity to visit Brooke and Dave again at their new Off Grid Property on the Upper Peninsula Michigan arose we were excited to take the trek to Visit but this time we got to bring our Wives Heather and Tori and our Dogs Bella and Buck for the visit too

We stayed in Hot Tents Overnight ate good food went hiking and told stories of what we had all been up to

It was also my Wife Heather’s first time sleeping in a Hot Tent and she was excited to try it out and she ended up having a great time. Our Dogs Buck and Bella had a great time as well despite having to be packed in the car like luggage in order to fit lol.
