🦺Workers and vehicles were clamoring to fix all the track issues after coal train derailed here in downtown Somonauk Illinois. Train traffic was stalled many hours. Amtraks were cancelled and freights waited. Kudos to the rail workers! What a great job, and they were all very nice as they managed the scene. Thank goodness it was only coal that was spilled! This historic town is just west of Chicagoland. The locos on far track were there to pick up salvageable coal cars after the wreck, and it will be just single track thru here for a while
