Chest freezers can become black holes in which everything is jumbled and it's hard to find what you need - food gets wasted and it's a source of frustration. When I got my huge chest freezer I made sure to devise a system that would keep it well organised and functional. I want my freezer to ensure that I save money on food (by being able to shop the sales and buy in bulk) rather than waste money on food that will eventually be discarded due to being lost in the pit and overlooked. I hope you find my system helpful! The freezer is currently less full than usual as we've just had Christmas as I had extra food expenses then so I haven't been stocking up as much as I usually do.
