How to make a runny scotch egg: So these are the way I have always made #scotch eggs. I hope you enjoy.
The secret to the #molten #yolk is to steam the #eggs NOT #BOIL.
Important:
Make sure there is only 1cm of water when steaming the eggs.
Steam for no more than 6 minutes.
When moulding the #sausage #meat round the egg, make sure your hands are wet so it doesn’t stick
Cook them for 4-6 minutes with hot oil at 350°F
Make sure you eat one straight after it’s cooked :)
Ingredients:
Sausage meat
#Garlic powder
#BBQ spices
#Bread turned into breadcrumbs
Eggs
Flour for pre coat
Egg for whisking when coating
#Vegetable oil for cooking
Salt to taste
With the sausage meat you can go plain or throw in what ever you like: #chillis, garlic, #nutmeg, #herbs. What ever takes your fancy.
