J. C. "Kid" Nichols films of various summer camping and pack trips taken in Wyoming. While most of these appear to be in the 1950s, perhaps some in the late 1940s, there is one clip in here of the famous Walt Ford Thorofare pack trip where Barbara Nichols was stricken with tetanus. She was flown out of Airplane Meadow about 3 miles up Butte Creek from Walt Ford's camp (Walt Ford Meadow). You will see J. C. "Kid" Nichols carrying the stretcher with Barbara onboard and at the very end of the clip you will see Bill Monday's Ryan airplane. This is copyrighted footage and may only be used by permission.
