Night Rider is a track from the "Away from it all" album released in August 1963. Originally planned to be released several months earlier, it made a belated appearance due to reasons known only by Joe Meek.
Consequently four of the twelve tracks were composed after the departure of Heinz to pursue a solo career. "Hymn for teenagers", "Rip it up", "Flycatcher" and "Chattanooga Choo Choo" have Heinz's successor Brian Gregg on bass guitar. Brian is also pictured on the album sleeve.
