I spent 3 hours just after sunrise has fog rolled over Lawnton Lake testing my Nikon Z6ii and 200-500mm f5.6 lens in capturing 4K videos and photos of Great Crested Grebes. I wasn’t disappointed, the Full-Time Auto-focus in Video Mode worked great and photos of these birds even at high ISO were beautiful.
Setting myself near the lake’s edge with my Nikon Z6ii and 200-500mm f5.6 lens and spent an enjoyable morning admiring the dedication of these Great Crested Grebes as they worked non-stop feeding their young and guarding their territory from other pairs of Great Crested Grebes who’ve also called this lake their home and came home with some amazing photos and videos of my encounter with these birds.
