This is the story of women and children traveling along the Balkan Route.
31 August, 2021, now that the US and NATO Forces left Afghanistan, many people will flee to Paksitan and Iran.
However, another "hidden" group of people will try to reach the EU along the Balkan Route, a dangerous travel which has been used by Afghans for years.
The way they will travel will be like it's narrated in this documentary set in Serbia in 2017.
Their stories describe both the stages of their travels and the infernal limbo they found themselves in after the 2016 agreement between Turkey and the European Union. In fact, with the closure of the border crossings, this route has become increasingly dangerous and people have had to rely on human traffickers.
Nothing has changed: the violence of the European borders has remained unchanged.
Now that you got to know many things about Afghanistan, get to know how they will travel to Europe.
