I did it! I quit Strava for a month.... sort of. I learned that I missed a few things from Strava, namely the segments and the form and fitness tracking. Other apps, like Garmin Connect, just can't deliver the same information. However, I also discovered the joy in totally disconnecting from gadgetry and GPS tracking. I went on a few "Don't Give A S^%$" rides and totally lost myself in cycling. My conclusion is that Strava is a tool. It can be super helpful, but at other times, it is probably unnecessary and counter-productive. Use it, but take a break occasionally. Sometimes, you just gotta get out and Enjoy Your Ride!
