Here it is, the new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure on stage in southern Germany where the bike was revealed to the world.
And it represents quite a change from last year’s model. Most striking are those new looks, with a reshaped 30l fuel tank and a distinctive cross-shaped headlights taken from the standard 1300 GS.
Elsewhere, the updates come thick and fast including a new swingarm for better stability, an adaptive ride height system which lowers the bike when you come to a stop, and there’s also an option to buy a GSA with BMW’s automatic shift assistant which makes the bike an automatic if you want it to be (otherwise you can change gear with your foot but no clutch like a quickshifter).
Prices start from a smidge under £19,000. Let us know what you think? Are you a GSA owner tempted to update to the new model?
