Here are my best tips and tricks to finding a balance between your full time job and art. It's funny because I filmed this video back in December (if you couldn't tell by the Christmas tree) and my thoughts and perspective have changed quite a bit on becoming a full time artist. I feel like I see so many full time artists come to resent creating art because it is tied to their job. And I really don't want that to ever happen to me. At the same time, I also feel like no job has to be forever, including your "dream job." Because dreams change just like we do as people. So if I am lucky enough to be a full time artist one day, I am also prepared to take it on knowing that it will probably not be my forever job. I honestly can't imagine doing anything forever. No one has to have just one job forever, including artists.
