I just got back from Europe! I have been over in France and Germany for the last two weeks. I had a great trip and met some new friends. I visited several detecting rallies.

In this video,

I was participating in a mini-rally organized on a private land with the land owners permission. This is not a historic or archaeological site. The Roman coin was found fortuitously during my detection at the rally.The goal was to find numbered tokens and other old coins that had been recently hidden on the property( a seeded hunt). If you found a token you would then win a prize at the raffle( metal detector, digging tools, etc.). After shooting the video of my Roman Coin, I gave it to the land owner so that it could be properly declared to competent authority.

Since I posted this video I have learned from other French friends who also attended the rally, that the stone house on this property was not actually built during Roman times, although Roman people had previously occupied that land. It is known as a "borie" house, where farmers maintained their tools and supplies. It was built a long, long time ago, but not by the Romans. Therefore I changed my video title to an Ancient rock house because it's not built by the Romans. More than likely around 500 years old.
