Here are 5 things we loved about the BYD Atto3.

- The Atto3 is built on ePlatform 3.0 which has a 8 in 1 powertrain - where the motor, controller, onboard charger, DC convertor, high voltage distribution box and the BMS are integrated in one unit. As a result of this, BYD claims an industry leading 89% drivetrain efficiency.
Assuming a driving efficiency of 160 Wh/km, the 60.48 kWh battery pack of the Atto3, should deliver a range of 400 km - which is very impressive!

- We loved the quirky interiors of the Atto3. The aeroplane style gear lever & the dumbbell style AC vents are super cool!

- Vehicle to Load is a game changer! The Atto3 offers a 3.3 kW AC output to power appliances and even charge electric bikes & scooters!

- 80 kW DC fast charger speed is very practical for most Indian highway trips. Plugin to a 60 kW CCS2 fast charger and top up to 80% state of charge in less than 30 mins!

- Finally BYD's Lithium Iron Phosphate battery with blade cells does not use Cobalt or Nickel. The battery pack is extremely safe from thermal issues and will easily last more than 10 years.
