Learn how to work a Norwegian purl stitch. This particular method of purling is for continental (picking) style knitters. The advantage of this style of purling is that you keep your working yarn tensioned at the back at all times. Therefore, Norwegian purling is particularly useful for switching between knits and purls in stitches like ribbing or seed stitch, as well as improving one's tension.
Unsure what style of knitter you are? Here's a comparison of picking and throwing style knitting: [ Ссылка ]
