By default, the Windows desktop background photo slideshow feature will only let you choose one folder and then it will use the pictures within that folder. If you have any subfolders with photos, they will not be used unless you move them into the main photo folder. Fortunately, there is a way to use the older style background slideshow app to add multiple folders, but you will need to enable the Library feature in File Explorer first. This will work for Windows 11 and Windows 10.
