Join ATC on an amazing virtual Ed-Venture series, geared for young people, engaging for all ages. Starting in Georgia and traveling all the way north to Maine, each session is led by environmental educators providing exciting content across a variety of topics and disciplines that connect us to the Appalachian Trail.
In this recorded webinar, we are joined by Isaac Wickenheiser, a Park Ranger at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and Jeff Metzger, the ATC Visitor Services Supervisor.
Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, is many things: the confluence of two major rivers (Shenandoah & Potomac), the scene of dramatic events in U.S. history, and the psychological halfway point of the Appalachian Trail. Though there are only a few miles of the Trail in West Virginia, those miles are chock-full of historical significance.
