Folks, I've only been keeping Bettas for about a year and a half, so I consider myself a relatively new Betta owner, with a lot to learn still. I wasn't sure about whether male and female bettas could be kept together, so I had to do a little research and consult with a few friends of mine who are very good with bettas. I thought this video was worth a share, especially for those just getting into bettas or thinking about getting into bettas.
I was surprised about how much conflicting information I found, though overall, it was advisable not to keep male and female bettas together, unless trying to breed them, or, unless they are in a big tank with lots of defined territories.
