Motorcycles actually fill several needs and wants that are common among this generation of young people, and motorcycle manufacturers just need to do a better job of making bikes that fill those needs and wants. Let's look at a few key facts: Motorcycles get good gas mileage, motorcycles are inexpensive (a lot of them), and motorcycles give you a sense of freedom. Plus very few things give you the type of self-expression and fun that a bike can. All of these things make them awesome for a young adult trying to make their way in the world...the motorcycle industry has simply lost sight of this.
