Step by step procedure on how to disable an alarm on a Kia.

This is useful when your remote is lost, damaged, or has a low/dead battery.

Vehicle used in this video is a Kia Picanto 2016 Model.

Here are some tips:

1. While the brake pedal is pressed, insert the key into the ignition and turn the key from OFF to ACC to ON (1st time), then ACC again and ON (2nd Time), until the Sixth Time (6th Time). The Alarm should now disarm.

2. The whole procedure when turning the key from OFF to ON six (6) times must be within eight (8) to eighteen (18) seconds. If it is done too fast or too slow, the alarm will not disarm.

3. If alarm will not disarm, step off the brake pedal, remove the key from the ignition and repeat TIP #1.
