In today s society people are so obsessed with self improvement and for all intensive purposes self improvement is not a harmful concept however people neglect the other side of the coin in character development which is self destruction. Just like there is no night without day ,winter without summer ,good without evil , there can not be self improvement without self destruction . the idea of self destruction is that what is old must die for what is new.

Masturbation a temporary action of feels good but achieves nothing substantial in the process therefore self improvement is seen as something that temporarily makes us feel good about our selves but achieves nothing.
Self destruction is necessary but difficult as we are loosing a substantial portion of our selves that we are afraid to let go of in the process even if its negative. It is hard to look at the worst part of our selves. Its is only when we kill our old selves we can become a new person. Self improvement will help you for a period of time then you will return to the way you were. Its a never ending of highs and lows . Changing who u are comes from destroying the old you. As nitche said “Every creation requires a creative destruction”
The death of the ego
we are to proud of who we are to not notice unhealthy parts of our selves. We are so preoccupied with who we are that we fail to notice who we can be , no amount of self improvement can help situation like this . in this case we must destroy our ego.
Lets evolve
We should all analyze our selves and the roots of our desires . self improvement doesn't come from attending seminars or reading self help books . it comes from destroying your ego in a sense that you're some way or another special and most important realizing that comfort is not the end goal in life

self destruction means destroying the concept of self , destroying the idea that the world isn’t spinning around us . its about bettering from internal . its about removing the infected parts of our selves .
