Elvis Presley made a surprise visit to BCW last Wednesday night to honour Bill Martin, who was presented Songwriter of the Year by Jools Holland at The Boisdale Music Awards last night. Bill who has had number one’s in every country in the world, wrote two of Elvis’ number one hits Way Down and My Boy. Last night Elvis sang a wonderful and moving version of his 1975 chart success.
