ستاره افغان یک برنامه استعداد یابی بوده که در جستجوی استعدادهای جدید در کشور افغانستان میباشد.این برنامه درسال 2005 راه اندازی گردید و بسیار زود به یکی از محبوب ترین برنامه در سطح کشور مبدل گردید که توانست نیاز مردم را به داشتن یک برنامه سرگرم کننده بزرگ درخانه برطرف سازد وخلاء ایی را که بعد از چندین دهه جنگ،در صحنه موسیقی محلی به وجود آمده بود را پر سازد.
Afghan Star is a talent show that searches for new music talents in the nation of Afghanistan. Launched in 2005, Afghan Star quickly became the most popular show in the country satiating the nation's thirst for home grown entertainment and filling a void left in the local music scene after decades of war.
