Bio: Yan Gao is a final-year PhD student in Machine Learning System lab at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Prof Nicholas Lane. His research interests are in machine learning, deep learning, optimisation. His recent topics are in federated learning with self-supervised learning on audio and vision data.
