Following the victory of VPP's Dr. Ricky A J Syngkon from the 1-Shillong Parliamentary Constituency and Indian National Congress candidate Saleng Sangma from the 2-Tura Parliamentary Constituency, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma addressed the media today regarding the Lok Sabha Poll results. Sangma attributed the NPP's poor performance to multiple factors, emphasizing that it is too early for a comprehensive response but noted ongoing internal discussions. He also assured the public that the NPP-led MDA government will complete its full five-year term and remain committed to serving the people of Meghalaya. Additionally, Sangma stated that the MDA is open to any probe.
