I'm going completely out of my comfort zone today and trying out a Nikon Z6ii, paired up with a Nikkor 500mm AF-S f/5.6 PF ED lens. The lens is an F Mount and the Camera a Z Mount, so I have to use the FTZ Adapter between the two. Throughout this session I experienced auto-focus issues where camera would stay locked onto the background despite me focusing on the foreground - this could possible be down to the adapter.. but not sure.? Have you experienced similar focus problems with this camera.. or indeed any other mirrorless camera? Let me know in the Comments Box.
