I have really enjoyed watching the plinthers over the summer: every time I've passed through Trafalgar Square on my way to work or the cinema. It's been a mix of happy and sad memories & I've recorded a lot of it in photos and film. Sadly my sister died on 17 July, day 11 of plinthing. The choice of soundtrack, Bring Me To Life has a double meaning for me because I chose it partly as a tribute to her, as it was a song she liked and partly because I thought it was appropriate to this work of art: during the 100 days from 6 July to 14 October the fourth plinth was very much brought to life. I will post up more of the photos and video I've taken over the last 14 weeks soon but since there is less than a day of performance art plinthing left to enjoy I thought it would be good to post one video up. The central part of the video features one plinther called Susie who spent her hour assembling a tribute to Anthony Gormley, the artist who conceived of this amazing living art project.
