Today I’m going to show you how to recycle bath bombs into amazing bath treats. First, I'm going to show you hot to make an amazing milk bath soak, followed by bubble bath frosting!
RECIPE: This project features recycled bath bomb powder, but if you don’t have any, the recipe is very simple: 1 cup (250 grams) baking soda, 1/2 cup (100 grams) citric acid, 1/4 cup (30 grams) corn starch + 7.5 milliliters fragrance oil, 5 milliliters polysorbate 80, & 2.5 milliliters cocamidopropyl betaine. Dry mix completely. SALTS: Salt is very beneficial, relaxing, & affordable! I triple-scented the salts. After scenting, test salts: Squeeze salts together, if they clump, there’s too much filler/fragrance, add more salts! You want the salts to “flow freely”. FROSTING: 50 grams baking soda, 50 grams sodium lauryl sulfoacetate [or sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium cocoyl isethionate], 70 grams powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons meringue powder, & 2 tablespoons hot water, + 10 milliliters fragrance oil. Whip for 10 minutes until stiff peaks form! *I had to remake the frosting because mine turned brown! I am SURE it was due to the fragrance oil. Please be aware that this may happen to you, too!!!! When adding mica, always add a little at a time; you can always add more later. For rock-hard frosting that won't turn brown: [ Ссылка ] DECORATIONS: I recommend only using 1 color of glitter; the project looks gaudy if more are added. NOTE: You don’t need to spend a lot of money to make this relaxing bath soak! Perhaps 1 milk, oatmeal flour (not colloidal), & 1 clay! This will be just as relaxing & rewarding!
