Sharon Osbourne Admits She Used Ozempic Too Much and Lost Weight
The former co-host of "The Talk," Sharon Osbourne, has spoken out about her drastic weight reduction, saying she is now "too skinny" after using Ozempic to lose 30 pounds. Osbourne discussed her weight reduction and new look on Talk TV's "Piers Morgan Uncensored" with host Piers Morgan.
Osbourne said on the British chat program, "It's just time to stop, I didn't actually want to go this thin, but it just happened." She continued by remarking, "I'll probably put it all on again soon!" indicating that she expected to regain some of the lost weight in the future and that her weight loss was not deliberate.
The 70-year-old TV star started her weight loss adventure with the aid of Ozempic, a medicine recognized for its weight loss effects, and stuck with it for four months. She did note, however, that the weight loss injections were not a "quick fix" and that she did in fact suffer from nausea as a side effect.
Osbourne's appearance on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" gave her adoring fans a better glimpse at her newly trimmed down visage. She said she felt "too skinny" if she went any lower than 100 pounds and that was why she was aiming for 105.
Osbourne has been open about her struggles with her weight, saying that she has gone from 230 pounds to a lower weight. Her daughter Kelly Osbourne's openness about her own weight loss inspired her to come forward.
Kelly Osbourne admitted on the "Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn" podcast that she had bariatric surgery in 2020 to help her lose weight. She was pleased with her choice to have the surgery done, calling it the "best decision" she'd ever made. Some people speculated that Kelly had more procedures or used Ozempic like her mother in order to lose weight after she gave birth to her first kid in November 2022.
Kelly, however, has strongly refuted such claims, insisting that any weight loss is the result of her own efforts rather than additional medical procedures. She said that she lost weight and changed her facial shape naturally, so others couldn't tell that anything had changed.
