Need a last minute treat to whip up this Deepavali? Then this recipe is for you. Some homemade custard and a few motichoor laddoos is all you need to make this delectable parfait.

Served in pretty shot glasses, this fusion dessert has a layer of crushed motichoor laddoos at the bottom, followed by a layer of creamy custard, topped with some motichoor crumbs and sliced nuts. It doesn't get easier than this.

I am also sharing the recipe for eggless custard using cornflour in case you dont have custard powder handy in your pantry.Serve the good old motichoor laddoos in a modern avatar and impress your friends and family!

Serves - 3-4

✓Ingredients -
For Eggless Custard -
Milk - 1 cup
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Granulated sugar - 3 tbsp ( or as ler taste)
Few saffron strands
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp


For assembling-
Motichoor laddu - 5 crushed
Chopped nuts to garnish
