(15 Mar 1965) On the outskirts of Quebec in Canada is the largest manufacturer of ice skates in the world. They use 60 tons of steel to produce 40,000 pairs of skates a week. The skates are assembled by spot-welding, riveting and silver brazing. This factory started in 1950 and today is the leading world producer - two million pairs every year.
