It's hard to believe that Malta was one of the most heavily bombed places during World War II - but Valletta's War Rooms and Saluting Battery are a testament to the small island's wartime history.
Join Clare as she observes the daily mid-day signal at the Saluting Battery, an operation that first started over 500 years ago. Reenactor volunteer, Joseph Cilia, also takes Clare down to the impeccably preserved War Rooms.
Valletta's history extends far beyond land. It's time for another dive into the Mediterranean where Clare explores the wreck of a WWII destroyer ship.
