What's going on everybody Rob here with a little video about this Growatt solar inverter. I purchased this Growatt solar inverter to help bring solar power to my house and reduce energy costs. I don't use it much too often. I have not put the industrial size solar panels on the garage yet. All I have is 400 W of solar power of solar panels on the garage. I got another 1200 W I want to put on the garage. What's since I had this grow what solar inverter I wanted to plug it into the grid and plug it into some LED and fluorescent lights to see how much power consumption and how much power this Growatt will generate. Most of the time is just running off of the 48 volt battery that I built. Sometimes it uses the battery and the sun to run the lights. Although it does use a lot of grid power when the sun goes down to recharge the battery all the way up to full. I was so surprised when I found out this Growatt inverter was using 1900 W from the grid to charge the battery. To me this would make sense if I had a big power wall mount battery that would not have to be fully charged overnight that would store enough power overnight to recharge in the morning time. Now on average I figure the Growatt is using about 250 to 300 W just to be on with the inverter. And I do think that is a lot of power consumption. But this is just me and what I'm figuring out. I will keep you posted on my journey of solar power down the road.
Thanks for watching,
