Socratic Questioning is a great strategy to use as a teacher in lessons. To simplify its use you can adopt one of four roles:
1. Gadfly
2. Midwife
3. Stingray
4. Ignoramus
By using these different roles you will be able to draw more information out of your students and challenge them to think in a more detailed and critical way.
