What’s the Monster Hunter movie about?
While on a search mission in the middle of the desert after the disappearance of a military unit, a team of elite soldiers, led by Lieutenant Nathalie Artemis (Milla Jovovich from the Resident Evil saga and The Fifth Element), are swept by a storm into a portal to the New World, where they find the remains of the missing soldiers and their vehicles. They are in for the shock of their lives, suddenly thrust into a strange and unfamiliar world populated by dangerous and unpredictable monsters. In a desperate attempt to return home, the intrepid lieutenant meets a mysterious hunter (Tony Jaa from Furious 7), who has survived this hostile world with his unique abilities. Facing terrifying and relentless monster attacks, these warriors must team up to defend themselves and hope to find a way home, but also to stop the monsters from sweeping through their world. Artemis will have to learn to become a monster hunter in order to face the creatures.
